Abstract EN

This study aimed to identifying the nature of democratic transformations that could affect political decision-making in Turkey.

The study showed the reality of the democratic transformations in Turkey, where it was generally mentioned that the democratic transformations came after many peoples of the societies ruled by the same authoritarian regimes especially as these regimes have become inherently transitional and unstable from an institutional point of view.

It pointed out that the process of democratic transformation in Turkey has necessitated an end to the crises of forced unification imposed by successive governments and the abolition of privacy Nationalism, because these crises, which were based on the principle of secularism and the preference for the trend of Turkish nationalism did not increase the reality of Turkey only fragmentation and division and military coups, and the study also showed the Justice and Development Party to build a new Turkish political system based on a reformed development program has new directions away from controversy (2002).

The study concluded that the Turkish experience in democratic transformations achieved great successes despite the existence of some of the problems that plagued the path of democracy, which was the occurrence of a number of military coups carried out by the Foundation The study recommended that the Arab countries take the Turkish model and stand to benefit from it to reduce the dominance of the role of its military institutions, as well as to study the methodology of the Turkish Justice and Development Party as a good experience in dealing with institutions And the need to conduct further studies and compare the Turkish experience with the Egyptian experiment to find out the mistakes that have foiled the experience of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt
