Abstract EN

This study focuses primarily on the essential factors that contribute towards promoting Saudi women leadership and proposes the necessary measures needed to support female entrepreneurs, thus achieving the intended development rates.

This study describes many relevant problems and obstacles that face female entrepreneurs.

The supporters’ roles in eliminating the problems and obstacles.

This study is based on a methodology that used data from 150 questionnaires of women entreprener and one hundred managers in the supporting in Qassim, the results are as follows The women's initiatives in Al Qassim area are not within the sufficient levels needed in the entrepreneurship category.

This is due to the prevalent cultural standards and the social obstacles that prevent the women from unleashing their full true potential.

The Saudi women are still limited within the traditional roles that do not include the technical or industrial fields due to lack of the necessary supportive environment.

The lack of financial literacy and bad policies used when dealing with project budget were the main reasons for the failure of small-scale business and thus contributed towards lack of female owned small businesses The study also suggested a few recommendations such as; Proposed project to establish industrial business incubator by Al Qassim University to support business women at the foundational and operational stages.

In addition to, encouraging the civil community organizations and private sector to take a partnership role along with the university in order to accomplish the proposed project.

Proposed project to establish a specialized local institute to support Saudi women entrepreneurs by providing the necessary training courses based on their needs.
