Abstract EN

The researcher is conducting a study titled by “effectiveness of shared reading strategy in developing readiness skills for reading for a sample of kindergarten children”.

In order to achieve the study’s goal, the study uses the experimental approach.

The study sample consists of 20 children with ages between (4 to 5) years old.

The sample was selected from al Marwa nursery, located in Nasr city in front of Harvard School and Al-Ahram School.

The study uses the following tools: social, economic and cultural index.

The study found that shared reading strategy has a big and significant effect on kindergarten children reading readiness skills.
