This study aims at identifying the extent of implementation of the following human resource management tasks: strategic planning, job analysis and characterization, training and development, performance evaluation, compensation and incentives in the private health sector in Jordan.
And to ensure that there are differences of statistical significance in the exercise of human resources management functions with regard to the type of specialized staff in private health institutions.
The finding of this study indicates following: - The implementation of most of the human resources management functions in the private health institutions has been shown to be average; - Lack of commitment of Jordanian private hospitals.
To implement the human resources strategic planning practices.
And functions analysis and characterization, training and development, and performance evaluation; - The results showed that private hospitals are committed to implementing training and development tasks, compensation and incentives, to increase productivity.
Due to the continuous demand by workers to improve their working conditions; - There is a difference in the average estimates on the human resource management practices in the study’s sample, depending on the type of the staff, medical or administrative.
And the difference was in favor of medical staff.
