Abstract EN

This study presents the criticism raised against the prophetic hadith, and the reasons behind raising such questions and criticisms.

This is done by clarifying the concept of sunnah in a foundational way depending on the Qur'an and hadith.

The present study gathers the criticisms about the hadith in question and discusses them in an objective way in order to evaluate them in the light of bases of hadith criticism and principles of scientific research.

This is in order for us to reach a sound view about their validity or otherwise.

The study also aims to refute the criticisms and allegations about the hadith, and the mistakes made as a result of hastening in criticizing the hadith and lack of right understanding and objectivity which are reasons behind the wrong views about the hadith and its rejection by them.
