Abstract EN
This study aimed to identify the reality of a social-psychological classroom-environment in Taif University.
In addition, the study aimed to recognize the existence of a statistical differences (0.05], between the axes of the social-psychological classroom environment, and to recognize the existence of a statistical differences (0.05) between the averages of Taif-University students for the reality of the classroom environment can be attributed to the following variables: the GPA, the college, and the academic-level.
Overall, the study used a descriptive-survey-method.
The study population comprised of all the students who were affiliated with Taif-University, for the first-semester 2017-2018.
The study sample was 400 students who were selected in a simple random way.
A questionnaire -what is happening in the classroom-(Fraser, 1998] was used as a tool to gather the data.
• The results showed the following: - The mathematical averages of the social-psychological component were in the middle degree, and the arrangement of the constructs were as follows: equity, students-cohesiveness, cooperation with others, teacher-support, personal-relevance, academic-engagement.
- There were statistically significant differences between the following axes (student-cohesiveness, teacher-support, involvement, corporation-with-others, equity, personal-relevance) from students' perspectives.
- There were statistically significant differences attributed to the college-variable, favoring the College of Education, and the College of Sciences.
