The purpose of this study is to explore the methods used to teach the French language in the middle school.

The study also seeks to highlight this educational stage as a basic and compulsory stage in the Algerian educational system.

This study also attempts to diagnose the reality of educational work in the shadow of the educational curricula adopted by the Ministry of Education.

Moreover, this study attempts to diagnose the teaching methods used by the teachers when dealing with learners, not only about the educational process, but also all kinds of interaction between them.
