Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the role of Islamic education teachers in developing creative thinking skills among tenth grade students in Irbid, and its influence on some variables.

The study sample consisted of (135) male and female Islamic education teachers.

The study tool was a questionnaire used to collect data from participants.

Results Showed that the role of Islamic education teachers in developing creative thinking skills among tenth grade was at a moderate degree for three skills (elasticity, Originality, Sensitivity to Problems), and a high degree for two skills (Fluency, derivations), the results also showed that there was no statistically significant differences due to variables of gender and educational qualification, while there was a statistical differences in participants responses due to the variable years of experience.

In light of the above results some recommendations were made.
