Abstract EN

This article deals with the reality of acculturation and its problems in contemporary Arab criticism, thus raising several questions that the interlocutor tries to answer or clarify in certain aspects, namely: what does acculturation mean? And what are their conditions? How did the Arabs receive Western critical theories? Was acculturation subject to critical awareness and a scientific view based on responsibility and scrutiny, or was it simply subordination? What are the most important problems of acculturation in contemporary Arab criticism? Is there a way to overcome or mitigate it?
