Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the effect of implementing high performance work systems in achieving strategic success in Jordanian private universities.

It relied on the analytical descriptive approach through the field survey to collect data through the study tool which was developed, and analyzed statistically to answer the study questions and test hypotheses.

Use of statistical packages (SPSS).

The study population is composed of all administrators working in Jordanian private universities, including general directors, department managers, and heads of departments.

A simple random sample was taken from five private universities (Jarash University, Irbid National University - Zarqa Private University) and (105) administratively, distributed to them the study tool (questionnaire).

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: There is a high level of application of high performance systems and high level of strategic success in Jordanian private universities from the point of view of their employees.

and There is a statistically significant effect at the level (α ≤ 2.25) for the application of high performance work systems in their dimensions: (efficient selection, comprehensive training, fair compensation, development of self-control, empowerment of staff, formation of task forces) Clear - effective implementation of the strategy - competitiveness in the regulatory environment - adaptation and response to environmental changes) in Jordanian private universities.
