Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the participating degree of the transformational leadership by school principals at Irbid governorate and its relationship with decision making effectiveness from teacher perspectives.

The study sample consisted of (253) basic school teachers and (193) secondary school teachers selected randomly from public basic and secondary schools at Qasabt Irbid educational directorate.

To achieve the aims of the study descriptive survey design was used as transformational leadership and decision making effectiveness scales were used.

The study showed that practicing degree of transformational leadership by school principals in Irbid governorate and decision making effectiveness degree by school principals was moderate from teachers point of view.

It was found a statistically significant correlation between participating degree of transformational leadership by school principals and decision making effectiveness by school principals in Irbid governorate.

In light of results, some recommendations were suggested.
