Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify The role of school principals in building Professional learning Communities in basic education schools in the in North- Alsharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman from the teachers' point of view, study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (175) teachers.

The findings of the study showed that The role of school principals in building Professional learning Communities in basic education schools in the in North- Alsharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman from the teachers' point of view was came generally high degree; They also came high degree of all Fields: Shared and Supportive Leadership, Shared Values and Vision, Collective Learning and Application, Shared Personal Practice, and Supportive Conditions; Results also showed that there were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the study variables which are academic level, sex, Years of experience and Job title.
