Abstract EN

The research subject deals with the study of the main divisions which were provided by the Algerian legislator for the classified facilities considered as distinct and unique to avoid any ambiguity that may occur between its different categories, whether in terms of their degree of impact on the environment or in the form of procedures for each category separately.

These divisions have been actually identified not only in the various decrees that regulate the classified facilities, but also in the environment regulation.

This means that individuals are restricted in the creation of the classified facilities to the extent they are forbidden to undertake any facility unless a number of requirements are fulfilled.

These criteria might be, for example, the potential risks that they may engender or the system that each category is subsumed to.
