Recent years have seen an important international interest in renewable energies as an alternative for finite energy resources, especially oil, which remains dependent on the international market volatility.

Moreover, many countries consider renewable energies as means of environmental protection and sustainable development.

In this study, we will attempt to highlight the importance of renewable energies in Algeria as an alternative resource of traditional energy that it can use to ensure the sustainability of its energy resources.
