The current research aimed to identify the discriminant function between high and low online academic engagement in light of the dimensions of Corona pandemic defeatism (COVID-19), To this aim a researcher made scale for Corona pandemic defeatism and scale of online academic engagement, After administering the two instruments to a sample of (200) students chosen from the scientific and literary majors at the College of Education, and verifying their psychometric conditions, they were applied to a basic sample of 694 students from the same population of the study.
