Abstract EN

This study aims to show the role of external sources in financing the municipality's budget, in its two sections, management and equipment, and in order to reach this purpose, the study was presented in its theoretical part of the municipality's budget, where it was defined and its various expenditures and various internal and external resources were addressed.

In its empirical part through the case study of the Ras El Oued municipality for the period: 2014-2018, we concluded that external sources of funding contribute significantly to financing the municipality's budget, whether in the management section of the Solidarity and Guarantee Fund for local groups, or in the equipment and investment section, where the municipal development plans has a large role in financing it, but the self-resources of the municipality represent a very small part in financing the municipality's budget, which is dominated by tax revenues.
