Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the variation in social competence as a psychological determinant for children with hearing impairment, in terms of both (gender, economic and social level), as well as the ability of social competence to predict self-empowerment for children with hearing impairments, and to achieve the goal, apply the social competency scale (prepared by the researchers), and the list of the socioeconomic level, on a sample (n=27) of hearing impaired, between the ages(12-13) years, The results indicated that there was no effect on the social competence as a psychological determinant of hearing impaired, and that there are no statistical differences in the social competence as a psychological determinant according to demographic variables (gender- social status) hearing impaired on the scale of the social competence.
