This research sheds light on the problem of adultery which is spreading recently.

It is a social problem that threatens ethical security and existence of nations.

This paper provides a definition of the term in its context in addition to the rulings related to this crime in Islamic law and the lawmaker’s reasoning.

The researcher shows the punishment of adultury in this life in the day after and concludes with the protective means against adultery on the personal and community levels.
