Abstract EN

The aim of this article is to highlight the impact of internal conflicts and external challenges in the Maghreb on the construction of a Maghreb regional security complex and its implications for the security of the Mediterranean by focusing on the importance of this region in international politics, especially in light of security threats and various crises occurring in the region since the end of the Cold War.

The study is the most important reason for the integration of the Maghreb region, which varies between internal and external reasons and its implications for building a Maghreb regional security complex.
