Abstract EN

In this study we used to shed lights on two influential figures in the contemporary history of the Arab Maghreb, namely: Abdel Aziz Al-Thaalibi and Masali Al-Hajj.

As for the first, he fought with the Tunisian national movement, and he had a prominent role in it, and the second struggled in the Algerian national movement, until he was called the father of the Algerian national movement.

They also had a primary role in confronting the plans of the French administration, fighting colonialism, injustice and exploitation, and struggling to spread awareness and vigilance among the masses, and through their continuous struggle, they were able to form generations that made their way towards , aims to reveal similarities and differences between them in terms of; Political formation, struggle, programs and methods adopted against the Oppressor French occupier .
