Literary vision has long dominated studies on Rihla (journey) discourse in general and pilgrimage discourse in particular, Until it becomes obvious in the literary field, However, the multiplicity of themes and cultural systems inherent in this discourse excludes it from the traditional view that Rihla is closed to its literary genre by treating this discourse as a historical semantic inventory and a renewed field of study, rich in intellectual premises and methodological frameworks, This provides historians and researchers with tools formulated by travelers in a literary text that some Algerians have excelled in its writing, as Al Hussein Alwartilany, Al Tunlaly, Al Moukry, Al Nasiry, Al Musaby and others.
