Abstract EN

Arab countries are considered to be among the countries that suffer from the rise in unemployment resulting from the economic and social transformations applied in these societies,which has produced negative social effects on the individual and the family.

In this context, this study attempts to highlight the extent to which the phenomenon of unemployment causes the instability of Arab societies in general, and illustrates the impact of this phenomenon on Algerian society in particular, during the period 2001-2018.

This study concluded that the breakdown of social relations is a complex phenomenon so that unemployment can be included as one of its causes.Unemployment has various causes, most of which result from the economic and social transformations experienced by the Arab society.
