I argue in this paper that the reality of international relations was not a real projection of the phenomenon of globalization - at least on the issues of political borders - even by the countries that established the phenomenon, namely the United States of America, and perhaps the fence between them and Mexico is the clearest picture… The 11/9 have completely changed the international border landscape, and the process of "opening" the border - which has gone a long way because of the repercussions of globalization calling for making the world a small village without borders - has become a process of "hardening of borders", which is totally contrary to the rhetoric of globalization.

It included the continuity of the Teichopolitics, creating a second generation of walls in international relations that were considered more solid than traditional barriers.
