Urbanization is the mirror that reflects the civilization level of any state.

Algeria; as all countries; is keen to develop measures to which buildings should respond in order to show its good face, so it adopted many mechanisms and legislation to protect the urban environment.

It used all the necessary frameworks to maintain the environment features within the context of sustainable development, in addition to that it created specialized agencies and institutions that are armed with an arsenal of legal texts for preserving the environment, organizing the building and giving them aesthetic appearance.

This expresses the identity of the Algerian urban style.
