Academic achievement is one of the most important educational subjects, and it is one of the most important phenomena that occupy specialists based on the educational process, due to the importance it has in the lives of learners, and those around them who are parents and teachers, because academic achievement reflects the level of mental activity of the student, as it is the first thing It is interesting to evaluate the student's condition, determine his educational path, and even define the entire stages of his life, and direct him in the proper direction, and these academic achievement plays an important role in shaping and defining the learning process (Fouad Abu Hatab, Syed Ahmed, Amal Sadiq, 2003, 512).

And that cognitive method (depth versus superficiality) is one of the most important cognitive methods that educational studies have taken care of, and this method arose through studies and research carried out by Schlesinger (1954), and he identified it as maintaining narrow behavior, and sees (Anwar Muhammad Sharqawi, 1995, 13), that the differences between individuals in the capacity and focus of attention, as some individuals in depth and focus on a number of elements of the field while others of individuals with a broad examination of a large group of elements and information.
