The research focuses on the effect of hobbies on the psychological balance of the individual and the society, its relationship with self-preservation and mind-preservation in Maqased Science, and some contemporary applications that demonstrate its importance.

The analytical descriptive method was used in the research.

The research has concluded several results, including in its field, urging the care of hobbies at this time is a legitimate requirement; because it is one of the means for self-preservation and preserve the mind.

The Islamic heritage supports the practice of hobbies by employing them in serving and developing the society.
