فاعلية برنامج تعليمي مقترح في اكتساب طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي للمفاهيم الديمقراطية في مبحث التربية الوطنية و المدنية في الأردن

Abstract EN

This Study Aimed at knowing the effectiveness of a suggested teaching program on the basic tenth grade students’ acquisition of the democratic conceptions in the text-book of National and Civil Education in Jordan.

Two instruments were used in the study.

The first instrument consisted of a teaching program which includes general and specific objectives, methods and strategies of teaching, teaching aids, teaching activities and means of evaluation.

The second instrument was an achievement test that consisted of (40) items for measuring the students’ acquisition of democratic conceptions.

The program was taught to a random group of (143) students which were divided into two groups (73 experimental and 70 controlled) in twelve classes.

The results showed that, the suggested program had a positive impact on student achievement comparing to that of the traditional method ; there were statistically significant differences in the students’ achievement due to gender in favour of female ; there were no statistically significances due to interaction between gender and the suggested program.
