Abstract EN
-Two fresh water ponds in Hadhramout south east Yemen were selected,surveyed and sampled for the presence of protozoan organisms.
These ponds were sampled for two times in June and November 2014.The results had revealed the presence of 39 taxa lie in three classes; these are arranged according to the number of taxa in each class.
Ciliata 23, Flagellata 9,and Rhizopoda7.Ciliate protozoa were the most dominant group followed by Flagellata.
Both the investigated ponds share the same taxa .
The results had revealed the diversity of protozoans that these fresh water habitats housing.
