Abstract EN

This study displays an original technique for measuring the temperature of some gases using laser speckle photography.

Since the temperature of the gas depends on its refractive index, we have obtained the refractive index distribution at different heights in the region of gas flow.

A Fourier Transform Method algorithm was proposed for analyzing fringe patterns in order to extract the phase from which can be obtained the unknown refractive index and temperature.
