Ouled Nail tribe is one of the largest tribes in the north of the desert of algeria on the roads of pilgrims convoy, it had an important role during the period of Ottoman rule in , whether through its economic contributions and even by its disobedience and revolution against ottoman power.

it has occupied an important position through its contract for several Seasonal markets with Moroccan pilgrims, which contributed to overcoming the difficulties of Hajj for Moroccans, and improving the economic situation of the tribe.

In this article, we will try to study the geographical area of the tribe, and the main pilgrim stations in it, as well as we will study architecture and natural ingredients in it, in addition to agricultural capabilities and the most important difficulties facing pilgrims, then the big markets and their characteristicsincluding the commodities and currency used, and finally the relationship of the Ottoman authority to these markets and the extent of their interference in them .

During the preparation of this research, we will rely on the pilgrims convoy books that we have printed one or still in writing, during the 16th and 18th centuries AD.
