Abstract AR
Abstract EN
In the Middle Ages relations between the Berber tribes did not have an aristocratic character, something that the Maghreb region would experience during the seventh century of the hegira corresponding to the thirteenth century of the Christian era, after the fall of the Almohad state which reigned from 541h / 1146av to 668h / 1269 BC.
This fall gave a new political map to the Maghreb with the appearance of three states: Zianide, Hafsid and Merinid who came into conflict over the heritage bequeathed by the Almohad state.
In parallel with this action, tribes arose demanding the creation of political entities independent of the states mentioned above.
Among the tribes let us quote that of the Beni Toudjines who allied by allegiance with the circles which best responded to their interest in order to concretize their active role in terms of political relations at that time.
The Middle Ages in the Maghreb were also characterized by the appearance of the phenomenon of alliances between the authorities and the Arab or Berber tribes.
The tribe played an important role in the various fields thanks to its military force, the Béni toudjines is the example, something which we will clarify by studying the conflict marking the relations between the Zianides; the merinides and hafsides.
