The study aims to shed light on the role of universal banking and its effects on the banking system in Algeria, as most of the developments and repercussions related to globalization that have an impact around the world on the banking industry, as the impact of globalization on the banking industry may be positive and negative as well, and represent the effects The basic restructuring of the banking industry and the shift towards inclusive banking.

This paper examines the option of universal banking in Algeria and the rehabilitation of the banking system.

Among the most important findings of this study is that the poor performance of banks and their dependence on traditional tools, and thus the idea of diversification with the need for continuous improvement, innovation and banking creativity to ensure its growth, survival and ability to compete by shifting towards comprehensive banks.
