Abstract EN

The research aims to build an environmental awareness measurement tool for sixth grade primary students.

The current research was limited to sixth grade students from boys and girls in Basra Governorate Center for the academic year 2004-2005, The research sample reached (800) male and female students.

The result of the statistical analysis shows that all the paragraphs are distinguished between the upper and lower groups at the level of significance (0.05) and the degree of freedom (4/2).

The T value of the paragraphs of the scale ranged (13,395-3,483), and thus the scale becomes after the extraction of the discriminatory power of the paragraphs consisting of ( 52) A Paragraph.

Likewise, the correlation coefficient in the application scores for the stability sample was extracted according to the Pearson Person formula).

The value of the high scale stability factor was (0.603).

The value of the standard deviation of the stability sample was (1.9).

The standard error of the scale was (1,20).

The instrument of the current scale is considered valid and consistent to the measurement of environmental awareness and thus can be used by researchers to compare the levels and levels of environmental awareness.
