تأثير الانفتاح التجاري و التكامل المالي على سعر الصرف الحقيقي : دراسة قياسية حالة الجزائر (1970-2016)‎

Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to shed light on the movements of the real exchange rate of the Algerian dinar and its main determinants, namely oil prices, trade liberalization, financial integration, government expenditure and productivity differentials, using the methodology of cointegration during the period 1970-2016.

The results of the study showed that there is a long run equilibrium relationship between the real exchange rate and its main determinants in Algeria, and confirmed that oil prices have a positive effect on the real exchange rate.

The real exchange rate is also affected by trade liberalization, productivity differentials and government spending, while the impact of foreign direct investment on Algeria's real exchange rate is weak.
