تعد النقيشات اللاتينية من الشواهد الأثرية ذات الأهمية البالغة في تحديد و لو بشكل مختصر جانب من الأوضاع السياسية الاجتماعية العسكرية الدينية خلال التواجد الروماني بشمال إفريقيا خاصة مع قلة المصادر و ما يؤرخ لتاريخ المغرب القديم و التي تعد الجزائر جزءا هاما منه.
ترك الرومان عددا لا يحصى من النقيشات الأثرية كلها ضمن حدود خط الليمس غير أن ما تم اكتشافه في القرن 18 و 19 و حتى القرن 20 م خارج حدود الليمس خاصة في مناطق الهظاب العليا و الأطلس الصحراوي يدفع بنا لإعادة قراءة المسار الكرونولوجي للتواجد الروماني بالجزائر و مدى توغله في أماكن كانت تنسب لقبائل محلية محرمة على الرومان.
Abstract EN
The Romans left a myriad of archaeological inscriptions all within the boundaries of the Limes line.
However, what was discovered in the 18th and 19th to 20th centuries AD outside the borders of Limes, in particular in the highlands and the desert atlas, invites us to reread the chronological path of the Roman presence in Algeria and the extent of his foray into places attributed to the tribes.
Local forbidden to the Romans.
The Al-Bayadh region is one of the regions which, thanks to Latin inscriptions, recently revealed the arrival of these garrisons and the battles that took place, proof of the human stability of the local tribes of the region.

Les Romains ont laissé une myriade d'inscriptions archéologiques toutes à l'intérieur des limites de la ligne de Limes.
Cependant, ce qui a été découvert aux XVIIIe et XIXe au XXe siècles de notre ère en dehors des frontières de Limes, en particulier dans les hauts plateaux et l'atlas du désert, nous invite à relire le chemin chronologique de la présence romaine en Algérie et l'étendue de son incursion dans les lieux attribués aux tribus.

La région d'Al-Bayadh est l'une des régions qui, grâce aux inscriptions latines, a récemment révélé l'arrivée de ces garnisons et les batailles qui ont eu lieu, preuve de la stabilité humaine des tribus locales de la région.
