Throughout consecutive historical eras, the Algerian society knew a specific traditional educational style, through “Zāwiyah” (Islamic religious school) and “Katatib” (Quranic schools).

So, this study aims to highlight and seeks to talk about the contribution of the “Quranic schools” to educate young people, enlighten their minds, reform their behaviour and provide them simplified education.
