this study aimed to define the foundations of Islamic economics and its rules derived from the principles of Islamic sharia.

to achieve the goals of the study, the researcher followed the inductive approach by looking at a large amount of studies, research and related texts, and then the researcher followed the deductive analytical approach to deduce the origins and foundations of Islamic economics.
