Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the level of Crisis Management in the Libyan oil companies through the following dimensions: (crisis management planning, crisis decision making, crisis communication, human and material resources available for crisis management, leadership role in crisis management) and to achieve the desired aims, the study applied the Case Study method.

Therefore, the researcher has developed a questionnaire based on some previous studies, which they were sure of their validity and reliability.

The study population was represented in all the Directors of middle Management in the Arabian Gulf Oil Company at Benghazi City, they were about (77) director.

The study followed the method of the comprehensive survey, and after the distribution of the questionnaire, (54) form were retrieved as valid for statistical analysis.

In analyzing the study data, statistical computer program services were used through the software contained in (SPSS).

The study revealed that the Crisis Management is not practiced in the company under study.

Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations that will be followed to activate and practice Crisis Management in the oil companies at Libya
