Abstract EN

Art criticism is one of the most prominent elements of the creative process, as a process of evaluation and correction of the artwork in whatever form.

This requires the critic to have a significant asset of experiences and prior knowledge of the art he is working on in his critical practice, whether in the field of theater, cinema or plastic art.

These last two are important areas of critical practice, as they are related to each other in terms of the language of the image, which plays a major role in addressing the issues of societies and the goals and behavioral and moral values they carry in fine artistic language.

Cinema and plastic art are intertwined in many artistic elements to produce an integrated artistic effect on both technical and functional sides.

Although they differ in terms of means, mechanisms and methods, their goal remains one, which is simulating life and reality in the language of the artistic image.

Therefore, we seek through this study to present the reality of critical experience in the fields of cinema and plastic art in Algeria and the type of relationship that binds them.
