The researchers consider the phenomenon of extremism not a product of the age of technology, but it is rather old, but it prevailed but it is not product to emerge from the scope of individual cases to become one of the distinctive social phenomena of the present age with difference of cultures and societies, and from here the researcher sees that the spread of the phenomenon of extremism, invades in the first place to the lack of sense Intellectual security that allows everyone researchers consider the phenomenon of extremism not a product of the age to express his views and ideas freely and without fear of the consequences of expressing thought, in addition to the lack of flexibility in accepting the thought and opinion of the other, and this results in an increase in extremism, which leads to the destruction of the individual and society.

There is no doubt that this individual in individual and society in general, whatever his religious authority, needs a spiritual and ideological valve that controls his intellectual security, especially in light of successive social tremors.

Our current study is an attempt to shed light on the importance of religious beliefs in promoting the intellectual security to counter extremism.
