He acquired fame, as testified by his disciples who consider him to be the Master of poetry in Tlemcen as well as the poets of Malhoune in Fez in Morocco, knowing perfectly his rank and his vastand incomparable knowledge.

It is, in fact, renowned that the displacement of men of letters and scholars from the Middle Maghreb to the extreme Maghreb represents a phenomenon which has thus succeeded itself through the ages, His displacements offered an opportunity through which the bonds of union and fertilization of ideas were strengthened, where science and literature benefited from a certain good, It is exactly what experiences our poet El MANDASSI who was thus able to perfect in the Extreme Maghreb his poetic sensitivity where scientific emulation was exercised.
