أثر بعض العوامل في مشاركة طلبة الجامعات بالأنشطة الطلابية : دراسة ميدانية لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية الرسمية

Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating factors impacting students' participation in university activities in the following official universities in Jordan (Yarmouk University, Hashemite University, and Mu'ttah University).A total of 972 undergraduate students participated in answering a 60 - item questionnaire that was standardized by calculating the validity and the reliability before utilizing it in this study.

The results of this study showed an overall moderate effect of the variables on all items of the study instrument as well as on the overall total of the instrument's domains.

The order of the influence of these variables, however, was social, economic, and academic variables respectively.

Furthermore, the results indicated that the influence of some variables (i.e., sex, place of residence, family income, academic level, and university) was insignificant at 0.05, whereas, the influence of the college variable was significant at 0.05 and in favor of social sciences colleges.
