The changes witnessed by Algerian society and its entry into the path of globalization imposed on it many issues, notably the participation of women in the development process by enabling them as an input to this process ; The modernity of the concept of empowerment and diversity in its uses and mists connection to many theoretical approaches has had a significant impact on the difficulty of defining its concept.

Therefore, in our research paper, we tried to explain the concept of women's empowerment and analysis of its elements and its most important dimensions, of the indicators and the extent of their validity in measuring the adoption of a women.
