The topic of renewable energies is one of the topics that have attracted the interest of researchers in various fields, and investment is considered an effective strategy to achieve the various objectives of economic and social development as they are sources of environmentally friendly and their use will lead to the diversification of energy sources and thus achieve abundance of traditional sources of energy .

This study aims to know the role that investment in renewable energies can play in achieving the dual environment protection and sustainable development through the presentation of geographical components and economic indicators of renewable energy sources in Algeria, and the possibilities of using them in investment opportunities that meet the requirements of sustainable economic development, and Aware of the energy and environmental challenges associated with diversifying energy sources and reducing the use of fossil energies, Algeria has developed a promising strategy and program for the development and development of investment in renewable energies in Algeria with a view to adopting a new model of development.

Its economic source depends primarily on the production of energy from solar and wind means with a combination of biomass and geothermal.
