تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة تأثير الفساد و مؤشرات الحوكمة على النمو الاقتصادي في 13 دولة عربية باستخدام نماذج بانل الساكن خلال الفترة (1996-2017).
وتوصلت الدراسة أن النموذج الأفضل لتقدير نموذج البانل الساكن هو نموذج التأثيرات الثابتة.
كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن للفساد أثر سلبي على النمو الاقتصادي.
أما مؤشر فاعلية الحكومة و مؤشر الاستقرار السياسي فتبين أنهما لا يؤثران على النمو الاقتصادي بشكل معنوي كما بينت النتائج أيضا أن مؤشر التعليم يعد من المتغيرات المهمة التي تؤثر على النمو الاقتصادي فـي الدول العربية.
Abstract EN
This study aims at identifying the impact of corruption and governance indicators on the economic growth in 13 Arab countries using static panel data during the period (1996-2017).
The study concludes that the best model for estimating the static panel model is the fixed effects model.
Findings also show that corruption has a negative impact on the economic growth, but government effectiveness and political stability have no significant effects on the economic growth.
Moreover, education index is considered to be one of the most important variables that affect the economic growth in Arab countries.
