The study aimed to examine of the impact of corruption on foreign direct investment for the period of 1995-2018 in Algeria by employing the ARDL/bounds test approach.
The results of the bounds test sugges a long-run equilibrium relmationship between foreign direct investment and corruption on the other hand the impact of corruption has a negative impact on foreign direct investment in the short-run and long-run in algeria.
Therefore controlling corruption may attract more foreign direct investment inflows to the Algeria economy.
