Abstract EN

The enormous increase in the volume of waste of all types and its various sources is one of the most important challenges that have emerged in recent years, accompanied by growing population growth and technological and industrial development.

This increase in waste has adversely affected the ecosystem and the social, health and economic aspects of communities.

The need to ensure them in healthy ways and without harming the environment, and to benefit from them through recycling and use as an energy source or as raw materials in various industries and reduce production costs.

This study aims to highlight the important role of waste recycling in controlling waste problems in line with the principles of sustainable development as well as the requirements for activating and promoting this process in Algeria.
