This research paper aims to highlight the most important factors leading to the high demand of the Algerian individual on the pasteurized milk in plastic bags and subsidized, which raises consumption levels to the maximum causing the problem of self-sufficiency suffered by our country Algeria.

The study concluded that one of the most important factors leading to the high demand of the public for subsidized pasteurized milk in Algeria is the regulated price itself, which is accompanied by the low monthly income of the Algerian citizen, in addition to the established nutritional habit in the minds of Algerian families to consume milk daily and in varying amounts from one family to another, but the study showed the neutrality of nutritional awareness in high demand for pasteurized milk due to the awareness of individuals of its low quality.
