The research aims to highlight the essential role of the context in revealing the purposes of the Qur'anic commentary, as an expressionist pattern related to the Qur'anic discourse, embodies the divine judgment on one of the issues of surah, and is linked interactively in harmony with its purposes, which is three types: the predominant commentary concerning the dominant comments on the surah, A varied comment does not require a specific composition, and a repeated comment that requires one composition and is repeated in the whole surah, as in Surat al-Rahman, as he repeats thirty-one times the saying: "By what authority do you have to lie" This entails using context to reach its purposes.
