Philosophy and the everyday : how should their relationship be tackled ?

Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to discuss about the relationship between philosophy and the everyday that has never studied thoroughly in the contemporary Arabic studies or rarely almost.

The paper purposes to study this topic regarding to five stages: the Thales' story describing the background of the everyday; the philosophical way treating the everyday concept; the enigma of the everyday; finally, the everyday's space and time.

The idea is placed into the main problematic concerning the tension between philosophy as a complex reasoning and the everyday taken-for-granted and based on the obvious human action.
